Who We Are
Our Approach
The Sasse Street Community Wealth-Building Initiative takes a collaborative, community-centered approach to fostering economic growth and opportunity. By engaging residents, local organizations, and stakeholders, we focus on identifying and addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the Sasse Street neighborhood. Our work is grounded in:
- Listening to the Community: Through surveys, interviews, and meetings, we ensure the voices of Sasse Street residents drive our efforts.
- Strengthening Partnerships: We collaborate with nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies to bring impactful programs and resources to the community.
Our Coalition
Our coalition is made up of community advocates, nonprofit organizations, public agencies and the Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services Center. Funding for the initiative is provided through a grant from the Walton Family Foundation.
